Sucker Rod Inspection

Rod and Tubing Services reconditions sucker rods, and sucker rod couplings. Rod and Tubing Services uses a proven process to clean and inspect all equipment before returning it back to the customer.

Our services include:

1. Pickup and delivery within 100 miles of Bryan, TX.
2. Rods, and couplings cleaned in vats utilizing heated solvents.
3. Couplings removed and prepared for inspection.
4. Couplings thoroughly tumble cleaned.
5. Couplings critically inspected, classified, chemically treated and boxed.
6. Rods visually inspected for mechanical wear, and corrosion damage.
7. Rods thoruoghly cleaned to parent metal using shot blasting.
8. Rods inspected using eddy current determining hardness variation.
9. Rods inspected using our (NDT) Electro-Magnetic Inducion inspection.
10. Rods inspected using (CSW) Laser Technology.
11. Rod pin ends and upset areas inspected using (UVL) Wet Mag Particle.
12. Rod shoulder seating faces checked for parallelism using product gauges.
13. Rod pin ends protected with special inhibitor and anti-galling lubricant.
14. Rod pin ends protected from mechanical damage by sized rubber end caps.
15. Rods demagnatized full length.
16. Rods treated with AMINE based soluble corrosion inhibitor full length.
17. Rods are graded and color coded per API standards.
18. Rods, and Couplings inventoried, and stored at no additional charge.
